What's new in v1.6?
───────────────────
-> Some authors were experiencing problems when attempting to run the door
in local mode and then trying to access an EPM. This has now been fixed.
-> Made a small error in the spelling when the player has won the game!
Oops! All fixed up now.
Upgrading from ANY VERSION to v1.6:
───────────────────────────────────────────────────
-> Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file into a TEMP directory for now. Move the
included TIMEV16.EXE archive into your TIME TRAVEL directory and run it.
When it asks if you would like to overwrite the first file, answer "A"
to overwrite ALL files. Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file back into your TIME
TRAVEL directory, overwriting the one that came with the new archive.
That's it!
Your game does NOT need to be RESET nor does it need to be configured
again, if you follow the above instructions.

What's new in v1.5?
───────────────────
-> Some WINDOWS Sysop's were experiencing problems with the color display.
This problem should now be fixed, forcing the caller to color if they
are ANSI compatible.
Upgrading from ANY VERSION to v1.5:
───────────────────────────────────────────────────
-> Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file into a TEMP directory for now. Move the
included TIMEV15.EXE archive into your TIME TRAVEL directory and run it.
When it asks if you would like to overwrite the first file, answer "A"
to overwrite ALL files. Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file back into your TIME
TRAVEL directory, overwriting the one that came with the new archive.

again, if you follow the above instructions.

What's new in v1.4?
───────────────────
-> Found a small bug with the EPM routine. ALL EPM authors are asked to
create an UNinstall feature as well as an INSTALL feature with the
release of their EPM. Well, if the EPM author removes their EPM from the
JUMPS.DAT file using their UNinstall feature and their EPM is the only one
in the file, this can create problems.
TIME TRAVEL simply looks for the existence of the JUMPS.DAT file and then
tries to read in the EPM name and .BAT file that calls it. If there are
no entries left in JUMPS.DAT but it still exists, then a "INPUT PAST END"
error occurs and the game exits. I have now created an error handling
routine to handle this problem and delete JUMPS.DAT if it's in the
directory and it is empty!
Upgrading from v1.0 or v1.1 or v1.2 or v1.3 to v1.4:
───────────────────────────────────────────────────
-> Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file into a TEMP directory for now. Move the
included TIMEV14.EXE archive into your TIME TRAVEL directory and run it.
When it asks if you would like to overwrite the first file, answer "A"
to overwrite ALL files. Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file back into your TIME
TRAVEL directory, overwriting the one that came with the new archive.
That's it!

again, if you follow the above instructions.

What's new in v1.3?
───────────────────
-> Just HOURS after the release of v1.2, I was contacted by a programmer
working on an EPM for TIME TRAVEL. He had found an error in the door
when it swapped back in when he was adding something to the Daily
Happenings file <argh>. It is sooooo easy to miss something like this!
Anyway, it is NOW fixed. Thanks to Andrew Flieder for pointing this
problem out.
Upgrading from v1.0 or v1.1 or v1.2 to v1.3:
───────────────────────────────────────────
-> Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file into a TEMP directory for now. Move the
included TIMEV13.EXE archive into your TIME TRAVEL directory and run it.
When it asks if you would like to overwrite the first file, answer "A"
to overwrite ALL files. Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file back into your TIME
TRAVEL directory, overwriting the one that came with the new archive.
That's it!

again, if you follow the above instructions.

What's new in v1.2?
───────────────────
-> Fixed a few smalll bugs here and there. You can bet as a programmer, if
you give the user the benefit of the doubt, they will screw it up
everytime (you would think I would know better by now!). One of the bugs
that was fixed was when the user was prompted to enter the NAME they
wanted to go by in the game. If they entered a " " space, TIME TRAVEL
would allow them to have that name. There were a few other small things
fixed up, but just boring programming stuff, so I won't go into it <grin>.
Upgrading from v1.0 or v1.1 to v1.2:
───────────────────────────────────
-> Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file into a TEMP directory for now. Move the
included TIMEV12.EXE archive into your TIME TRAVEL directory and run it.
When it asks if you would like to overwrite the first file, answer "A"
to overwrite ALL files. Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file back into your TIME
TRAVEL directory, overwriting the one that came with the new archive.
That's it!

again, if you follow the above instructions.

What's new in v1.1?
───────────────────
-> Well...I can't believe this did not come out in BETA TESTING...but there
is an error with the DEAD LINES routine when a player kills another
player. After grabbing the line that the player says, the program was not
closing the data file. This would result in a FILE ALREADY OPEN error if
the player went in and killed another player. This error has now been
fixed.
Upgrading from v1.0 to v1.1:
───────────────────────────
-> Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file into a TEMP directory for now. Move the
included TIMEV11.EXE archive into your TIME TRAVEL directory and run it.
When it asks if you would like to overwrite the first file, answer "A"
to overwrite ALL files. Move your TTRAVEL.CFG file back into your TIME
TRAVEL directory, overwriting the one that came with the new archive.
That's it!
